Hello. I am thinking about starting an online business. Ihave been checking out different websites to see which ones I like and I think the the style I like best can be seen at www.createsticksandstones.com. Does anyone have any idea how much it would cost to have a web designer build a site similiar to that one? How lond would it take? ANy information would be appreciated. Thanks.

I would be happy to create your site although I would like to discuss further with you what you would like out of the site etc and would build it using a content management system making it easy to add more content.

If I was to do this project I would want to be paid a set amount per hour before starting the project and paid money in installments after so many hours or a set amount.

I have built other sites for other people before and I am in the process of updating my own site.

Email me at admin@wired.profusehost.net for further information.

Unless you want to spend hundreds of dollars up-front, followed by maintenance fees and extra money each time you need changes made... I wouldn't suggest you pay someone to do it for you when there are programs you can use to easily do it yourself, and be able to maintain full control and security over your site.

Using an easy to build site service like the one found at makemoneyconcepts.com/websitewizard is what I'd suggest because it gives you all the capabiliteis you need. I personally opted for the deluxe plan because I wanted a store with built in ecommerce, and to be able to allow other people to sell my products for me as affiliates.

Doing it this way, you maintain complete control over all aspects of your site and make changes whenever you want to without paying or waiting for someone else. You can have your site built in 24 hours or less, store included, and be ready to make money the next day.

Just a suggestion. Hope it helps in some way. Feel free to contact me for further assistance. There is also some great software I can recommend for the do it yourself route... depending on your particular needs and requirements. Some of it is even free.

May be you can post your web project at websites like http://getafreelnacer.com/ and let many web designers bid for your project. You can then hire a web designer of your choice.

Do not pay any money afront however.

500 bucks upwards will get you a website with a few pages and probably up and running in around 10 days.

It very much depends on what you need the site to do

Go to www.rentacoder.com or www.rentafreelancer.com and you can view others who have asked for websites to be created and see the bid amounts, or post a bid yourself and see what results you get, there is no obligation to accept the bids.
