Hampton's injury is not considered serious. He will be out a couple weeks at worst. He will be ready for Spring Training and will start the year out in the 5 hole for the Braves. Chuck James is the 4th starter right now barring any moves.

For sure i would say Buddy carliel, he has proven to be as reliable as any 4 or 5 starter in the rotation. for the 5th spot i would say chuck james because he has some experience and some good pitches. He needs to work on his command a little bit tho. But if things don'y work out with a five man rotation dont rule aou an old 4 man rotation. Here is my projected pitching order. 1.the ace Tim Hudson.2. The most experienced pitcher we have john smoltz. 3. Tom Glavin.4.Buddy C.5. Chuck James

Chuck James will likely be in the fourth spot, but the fifth is more open now that Mike Hampton has been ruled out for a while. He would have been penciled in at the back of the rotation, but that latest injury obviously affects that plan. If healthy, he's the fifth.

The fifth spot will likely be a battle between Jeff Bennett and Jair Jurrjens, the guy they got from the Tigers. Jo-jo Reyes could also be in the mix. My guess is that the final spot won't really be decided until they've got some spring games under their belt.
