I believe that the Republican party is the party of hate and greed. That is what the current administration is all about.
The Dems are not much better but given the choice between two evils it's not much of a choice.
People agree with what they already believe in. If they dislike foreigners they they will claim that all of their problems stem from illegal immigrants (or the poor) and will come up with the most ludicrous scenarios to prove it. There always needs to be someone to blame but if these same people did just a little research (instead of relying on the nightly news, the FOX network or Lou Dobbs) they would be so appalled at what our government is doing to us they would forget all about illegal immigrants.
Why aren't the people up in arms about health care, perscription drugs and insurance companies raping us instead of "pressing 1 for English"????? If all of us put our energies into real problems in this country we could force the politicians to make changes to help everyone of us instead of just the rich.
Oh, and why aren't the rich blamed for our problems? After all most of the social programs are for their benefit.
Capitalism for the poor, socialism for the rich.
They keep the uninformed citizens up in arms about illegal immigrants as a distraction from what they are really doing to us.
Hitler did the same thing with extreme patriotism and inciting hatred of anyone or anything not German. Sound familiar?
When facism comes to America it will be wrapped in a flag and a cross. Sinclair Lewis
Wise up America we are on a very slippery slope here

Funny, there seemed to be enough of them to get the man re elected in the last election. Besides.. hes not running in the next election...so let go of your Bush Derangement Syndrome and keep your eye on the ball Lib!
I have to laugh when I see libs bash the man this late in the game.
Your focus as a lib, America-hating, pro-communist , pro-socialist kool-aid drinking lapdog... should be on the new group of Republicans that will be running the White House over the next eight years!
By the way... I will be selling crying towels to all the Dems and Libs when the election is over and you all are crying about fixing votes and denying old people and minorities a chance to vote.... again.
Maybe you can get Puff Daddy to do that vote or die thing again to help out!

Yes we are.
I was one of those people they used to call for political polls until I told them not to call me anymore. The reason I told them this is because it was a multiple choice question and they chose the answers. You get very little truth that way but you can sure push an agenda!

I voted for Bush based on protecting my moral values (Pro-Life, Sanctity of Marriage, Abstinence..etc). I do not believe that he has handled some other things ideally and he has consolidated power beyond my comfort level.
I believe that our media portrays and promotes those who are more liberal on the above issues. This may sway the morals of the general public, but I think when most Americans sit down and think about what is most important to them (their innermost cares), they see that Bush is doing allot to protect that.
