Well, I always pick mine up. Or I just hang around the shop until its ready because the girl that works there is very cute :) hehehehe
This one place I use to get pizzas delivered from ... sometimes it wouldn't make it to your house. You just never got it. I think the delivery guy stopped off in a bar somewhere and lingered a little too long :)

I don't know where you live, but in most States that I live in, pizzerias have curtailed or eliminated their free pizza-if-not-delivered-on-time deals, because their drivers were violating speed limits and getting lots of tickets, which aren't reimbursed by the company. Many communities have banned such practices, altogether. Besides, I could save myself the tip by picking up the pizza myself (it more than saves the gas cost!).

My pizza place doesn't do that. It's two blocks away anyway. I have known the owner for over twenty years and he always gets me my pizza fast. the drivers know I am a good tipper too..so they bring me free soda and a lot of the free-bees too.
