No, you can`t help your sexuality, and I believe it`s born into you. I am however against gay marriages and gay couples adopting kids. To the bloke who said it happens naturally in the animal kingdom...am I missing something here? I`ve never seen birds or animals try to pair up with one of the same sex to make a home together. They don`t even mix the species. I thought males were very territorial and fought other males over females, not other males. Sorry if that upsets anyone, but that`s how I feel about it.

Not at all. There is no logical reason for a person to be against homosexuality, only moral and cultural reasons, and being against homosexuality is like being against a certain gender.
If friend of mine starts a relationship after a messy break-up, I'd be happy for him. If it turned out that his new relationship was with a man, then for me to be against that would be equal to me being against men in general, since it's the fact that his new partner is a man would be what I am against.

Absolutely not against it, I live it, breathe it and love the lifestyle, but then again being gay I would be stupid not to love it, but the choice is there for everyone to live the life of their own choice in which they are most comfortable with, without fear, persecution, ridicule and negativity thrust upon them.

I don't really mind if someone is homosexual but i can't lie and say i agree with it.For 1 people who are homosexual are not going to procreate and help develop this world for a brighter future. When i was younger i had a friend that was a girl and i always thought she was a lesbian she never admitted it but when we got to the 7th grade she had a crush on our female science teacher and she tried to pin it on my bestfriend because she was uncomfortable with her own sexuality and this might be the case with other homosexuals as well and that's not a good thing. But hey if someone wants to be licking and sucking on the same sex then it's none of my business it's not me so i don't care.

Absolutely not. People's sexual preference is totally their choice between consenting adults, that goes for heterosexuals as well. I am for gay marriage too as I feel this has been a terrible injustice to the gay community and individuals who can't have the same rights as the rest of us. I am glad the UK is tolerent as it must be terrible to feel a second class citizen, be you black, Asian, Muslim or any other faction of society. I loathe it when religions start to criticise homosexuals- it's so bigoted. They expect homosexuals to tolerate their religion though. There are so many I totally admire- Noel Coward, Oscar Wilde, Freddy Mercury, Kenny Everett etc- why should many of these have had to hide their true feelings for many years and not be themselves due to societies prejudice?

I couldn't care less who is f*cking who.
Wait, let me try..
..I am trying too care less..
It's not working.
I guess I really don't care who is f*ucking who.
I have a few gays friends and I never care who they are dating, just as long as their partners are nice to them. That is all that matters.
They sure don't seem to care who I am sleeping with, though they sure don't mind talking about it with me.
No, I guess I have no problems with gays one way or another.
I know that many people are afraid that they will go to hell because of their actions. Big deal. I am not gay, but I am pretty sure that I am going to hell. It will be so nice to have gay people with me in hell! Can you image how cute our room will be? It will be a "helluva" lot more stylish than some pad in heaven *wink
Homosexuality is not a choice. Can you imagine making that choice? I am out here in Japan at the moment and I have a beautiful girlfriend. What if I suddenly decided to stop dating her and started to date men because I made "some choice'.
More like I lost "some bet". That is the dumbest thing I've ever heard - that homosexuality is a choice, and I've heard a lot of stupid things! That one takes the cake - the dumbest thing I've ever heard cake. Can you imagine if there was a dumbest thing I've ever heard cake? How would it taste? Maybe it would be great, but perhaps I could make a "choice" to decide how it taste!
Peace!

No, I live in California and grew up here. I don't think about it much. I have friends who are gay and lesbians. I have friends who are Asian and black and Hispanic too. I guess it's nice to live where there are a lot of open minded people.

Only if it's against me. I mean why try to be friends with something that doesn't like me.
Ah snarkyness aside...
Nah, no worries. People are going to be people, love is always going to be love, and if someone can find love in this world, they are lucky period.

Nope. My argument is that, 'do you love the person you are with (your significant other) because they are male or female?'. The usual answers would be, 'no, it's personality'. So they would never think liking someone because of their gender. But because of who they are inside, that's why i accept anyone.
