I am talking about the wrestling terms for 'good guys'(faces) and 'bad guys'(heels). If I remember right most popular face wrestlers have been heels at some point in their career.I mean guys like: The Rock,Stonecold,Bret Hart,Kurt Angle,Shawn Michaels,The Undertaker,The late British Bulldog,The late Eddie Guerrero,Goldberg,Brock Lesnar,Batista,Hulk Hogan,Mankind,Ric Flair,Sid Justice,The late Yokozuna,Chris Jericho,Mr Perfect,Jake the Snake e.t.c.
The only wrestlers I can never recall seeing playing heel roles are Ken Shamrock,The Ultimate Warrior,Rey Mysterio,Rob Van Dam, and some others.

Ken Shamrock was a heel when he joined the Corporation, Rob Van Damn was a heel in the early ECW days, Rey has always been a face, I don't even count the ultimate warrior. Also Ricky Steamboat was never a heel, Tito Santana, Junkyard Dog, to name a few more

Yep that's true. Most wrestlers have a 360 character turn at some point. It's usually to reinvent the character or sometimes a new one.
RVD was a heel when he debuted in 2001 from ECW.He was heel when he beat Jeff Hardy for the Hardcore title at Invasion. He was part of the heel Alliance faction with Stone Cold, Angle,Booker & Shane that took on Team WWF at Survivor 2001 in the Winner Take All match.

That is very true. However, most wrestlers are better in one role than in the other. For instance, Edge was horrible as a face, but is the best in the business as a heel. Shawn Michaels is horrible as a heel, but great as face. WWE tried to make RVD a heel during the dreadful Alliance angle, but the fans just wouldn't boo him.

I don't recall Paul London ever being a heel. I could be wrong though since I just started watching wrestling like 2 years ago. But I can see where you're coming from. I remember when Cena was a heel.

Rey mysterio was somewhat of a heel when WCW did that HORRIBLE No Limit Soldiers storyline when Rey and Konnan were in Master P's stable. They went against Curt Hennig and The West Texas Rednecks. The No Limit Soldiers were supposed to be faces but the southern fans booed them crazy because they hated rap and cheered Hennig's group. Van Dam was a heel in ECW when he was kissing Jerry Lawler's *** and calling himself "Mr. Monday Night" Ultimate Warrior just plain sucks.

Surprised it wasn t career suicide when Hogan went heel ,when he worked for WCW.

Most doesn't matter if a wrestler is a heel or face... Like,Steve Austin , He could be either ,beat up a fan favorite ,and still get the HOOO-RAH's.

Ricky Steamboat was never a heel. He just comes off as too much of a squeaky clean good guy.

Also, that Foley being a "stunt man" thing is funny coming from a Sabu fan.

Mysterio has never been a heel, but his uncle Rey Mysterio Sr. has been both a heel and a face in his career.
