And, when I say throughout life, I'm talking the whole life. A life that has no potential for happiness, stability..there will be physical and/or emotional pain throughout one's life. Why would he put us through that and how does he expect us to cope?

I'm talking about things we ourselves have NO control over.
People say that our lives are mapped out for us by God. Why for some, does he chose a lifetime of suffer where there is nothing they themselves can do to fix it. How is one supposed to grow spiritually from that?

I'm not talking about drug users, alcoholics, people who have all that they want, but want more (sorry, to the man who said that, but that is not me).. or people who have sinned.

Just adding, that I don't blame God. In fact, through all that I've gone through I have looked to Him and believe I have gotten closer to him.
Sometimes I wonder if what I have gone through (things that I could not control) were to help me to grow spiritually...

take an example from Job in the bible. he lost EVERYTHING. he was mocked by friends, was sick and tempted to forsake his faith. but his saying should still wake us up today:
"Thought He slay me, yet will i trust him."
Are you giving God complete control of your life?...or trying to figure your own way out, something that is almost too hard for us to do in the physical. if your not trusting god, you cant expect him to feel accountable. the more faith you put in god, the more material he has to work with to make your life better.
Are you doing what you can for god? even in this situation?
He promised that if we live for him, hell take care of us, emotionally and physically. maybe he can use you more in the situation you are now, maybe hes meaning will reveal itself in due time. gods way up is sometimes down.
please have faith. I'll pray for you.

If you are saying that life is not fair, I would certainly agree with you 100%. Some are in pain 24/7, as the yuppies say, never have two nickles to rub together, etc. THAT is MY life. While I sometimes wish my life was better, I believe in the old sermons I heard in church so long ago. Some day I will get my reward. Those who have such a good life now may not have such a good life in the next life. It is not up to us; God WILL judge.
The Bible teaches that He will not try us beyond our ability...
Trust. That is the key.
Easy or hard life, it is over too soon. People (including myself) must enjoy what they can and accept what then can't.
It is all part of free will. Some succomb to temptation easily; some don't.

It is YOU that allows the suffering in your life. It is not this "God" you speak of. Stop blaming others, God included. YOU need take responsibility for your life, happiness, stability, and pain. Only YOU can cope with these things. YOU are the author of your own fate. Think about it.

Dear Melly, When you have been a little one developing up, did your mother and father supply you obviously the whole lot you favored and consistently mean you can have your possess manner even supposing some thing you have been doing could intent you bodily or intellectual damage? God's love, his "map" for our lives is not close to giving us some thing we crave. The loss of skills for happiness and steadiness you speak approximately is not due to the fact that God is ignoring or permitting it to exist. God is the ideal guardian. The ache, ache, loss of "happiness," loss of "steadiness" are much more likely caution indicators that you simply or any person close you is on a improper course, or classes that you simply ought to gain knowledge of so as to discover the real happiness and steadiness you consider is lacking. I have lived your query and handiest within the final three-four years have I all started to respect the hardships in my lifestyles as warnings and classes God places earlier than me. Sometimes that awareness is on the spot: Look at the ones you feel are inflicting you bodily or emotional ache and believe approximately whether or not ... might be ... you ever induced any person equivalent trouble. What you supply out, you get again ten fold. The lesson ends whilst you discover a technique to take accountability and catch up on what you initially gave to others. This isn't to mention that the teachings gets less complicated. God has a tendency to begin us out with the simplest classes first and paintings as much as the better, more difficult to clear up or clear up classes, however he is taking us there, step-by-step, caution via caution, lesson via lesson. How does he assume us to manage? Step out on religion, darlin' ... supply it over to God and believe that he'll each guard you and support you. Learn to respect your miracle an afternoon due to the fact that it does come. Learn to recognize by way of a prayer of thanksgiving that miracle and the teachings regardless of how difficult. You won't feel me to start with. You would possibly learn this and exclaim, this girl is wack. There is NO manner I've performed whatever to deserve this. But should you pray in this and also you ask for enlightenment and steerage, I'm making a bet you'll be able to discover out I'm correct. Count your benefits, Melly.

Well for one, you choose to be born, so you can't blame god for this.Second thing is that suffering is normally associated with past karma, which means you might have been pretty bad for those upstairs dudes to mess up your current life.
Lastly, it is only through suffering and hardship that one is able to grow spiritually. Call it baptism of fire if you like but that's life. You are not going to evolve spiritually if you are nursing a vodka martini served by your servant while you wait while away the time by the poolside of your mansion.

It's a test. It's all about the forces of Good and Evil.Satan prevails here on Earth when we're talking about flesh man and his weaknesses. If your going to blame anyone for the world's sad state of affairs please place the blame squarely where it belongs-satan.God will return to cleanse His sanctuary very soon. Right now He's allowing satan to test us to see what we're made of,and if he (satan) can mislead us like he did during the first Earth age. What are you made of? Do you have the right stuff to withstand the firey darts of satan? We all get exactly what we deserve in this life as a result of our actions in the first Earth age. Ooooh, what's he talking about "the first Earth age?" It's clearly documented in the bible, have you read it?.Please don't be a "poor me baby",otherwise satan will have a field day with you.

Perceptions.
Those whom have the least and suffer the most are more appreciative and devout than those of us who are given the most.
God is seen in a mothers ability to spend just one more second with her terminally ill child while the mother who's willful child is perfectly healthy may curse God for not directing them to listen.
God is felt in the kindness of a stranger who provides the means for the one small meal a starving child in an impoverished village will receive while a family who is forced to subsist on workers compensation and charity when a factory closes bemoans God's lack of intervention to maintain their prior standard of living.
Our suffering is nothing compared to that of God's only begotten child thought who's sacrifice we may all know his grace and glory.
Please take the time to be thankful for ones ability to even contemplate the state of our lives much less analyze it.
Thank you and God Bless

Because no one is given more than they can handle.
Look at Ludwig Von Beethoven.
The man was born into a desperate poverty with grime and filth covering his home. He had to fight and scrabble for his food against his siblings. He had a lot of brothers and sisters and he grew up in cold winters with draughty homes. Poor meals that you wouldn't even think of feeding your dogs. He was of a poverty stricken family and when he grew up his genius damn near drove him crazy. A magical mind that could hear music that eluded him all his life (and he could find no way to translate it into sound with a whole symphony of musicians) even before he could finish his great works he was starting to go DEAF!
A musician going deaf! It was a slow decline, painful and inevitable. He had sores and sickness that we could not bear and yet he produced a majesty in music that commands our attention whether we like it or not. He died deaf. The great achievment of his ninth symphony was never heard by him in life. Oh he was there at it's first debut. He played the piano when the symphony was first played. But he was deaf!
Brass and wood, skins of drums, reeds of wind instruments, violins and cellos, and all manner of string and wind instruments in a chorus of a hundred voices no one had ever heard before majestically swept the audience brought a hunger for the beauty of his mind, spirit and genius. They heard greatness. They saw the master carry a sound they never heard in all their lives and HE WAS DEAF TO IT ALL!!!
Didn't hear a note!
He died before he could finish the tenth symphony.
He suffered. Do you think God should have put an end to his forthcoming misery while his soul was still a foetus? God knew ecactly what the man was going to go through and let him live a short and painful life and we sing a "song of joy" by the misery of the poor-rich man.
For the most part God lets and allows us to suffer to build a strong man or woman in both body and soul. He allows it, He does not make it!!
I'm going to repeat that.....God allows us the pain, He does not give it to us". Look to Satan for the cause of our pain and suffering. We ourselves should look to God for salvation from this evil that runs amock in the here and now.
Please...do not blame God for what is evil.
Put the blame where it belongs, with the prince of darkness.

You suffer because of sin. Try go one week keeping the ten commandments (while trying to stay away from people that break them 50 times per day) and see what happens.
I dont know anything about you, but I am probably guessing you are having a big problem with coveting. (Wanting things that dont belong to you) This is a pretty big one for people that always want more and more so they are never happy.

God intended for us to have perfect bodies, perfect health, and freedom from pain and suffering. The world He created was perfect. But evil entered & destroyed perfection. When sin entered the picture, it brought with it death, pain, and suffering. Evil forces attack us and cause much suffering in an attempt to get us to blame God and turn away from Him. God is not the cause of any suffering in this world, Satan is! To blame God is Satan's plan... It's Satan's way to get us to turn our back away from God & follow the one who IS truly responsible for pain and problems.
2 Corinthians 1:3-5 -- I can increase my faith in Him, increase my compassion for others, or be better able to encourage and help other hurting people
