Great question. Two answers.

First, I find that I am extremely patient. I once waited five years for this guy to break up with his girlfriend and go out with me. He turned out to be --- not at all what I was expecting.

So patience is good (better than meddling), but the warning is -- "Be careful what you wait for. It may not be worth it."

Second, way wait? My normal mode of behaviour is to push through the plaster walls, which end up being paper, and go after whatever it is I want.

It's been fulfilling to live all over the world, learn to fly, scuba dive in Australia, support changes in Africa, raise two great kids, and love (sorry, that's Truly Love) someone else who also loves me back in the same way.

Sit still? Wait? You can't be serious.

No, I'm still waiting for the one to bless me with a beautiful, caring, loving personality. Someone who knows that integrity does matter.

If I'd found it I wouldn't be waiting for it would I? However I have found happiness which is something I was waiting for last year.

No. I've been waiting for years, but the knight in shining armor hasn't come yet. I guess rescuing damsal's in distress isn't really in anymore.

Yes and no - once you get what you've been waiting for you end up waiting for the next thing

I thought so, but I was sadly mistaken and disappointed. He seemed heaven sent from the start, but now I'm left heartbroken and confused by his actions. But, tomorrow is another day...I have faith in prayer.

Best wishes.

I'm not waiting for anything, that's ignorant. Everything comes at unexpected times, it will come when it comes.
