i have never seen an article as you describe.

that people are living on the street in many cases is that they prefer it to be like that. i do not have an explaination for you.

some lose everything and they eventually will find their way out of poverty.

i would suggest contacting a homeless shelter and see if they can provide you with literature to meet your needs.

i recently came back from a year in washington DC and there are people who live on the streets year round, and it does get cold and wet there, yet they are happy being a bum.

in fact, there is a guy in a tent, just across from the white house, had been there for 3 or 4 years in protest. i walked over to see what the deal was, and the japanese tourist were taking photos of a squirrel behind his tent.

lot of strange people in that city

Youyr instructor is a Liberal and is bringing their Political Opinion into the classroom to be taught as fact.

Report them.

There are many things that influence homelessness that we CAN address and reduce it.

Sometimes, people just CHOOSE to live on the streets.

Their lives are simple, they have no responsibilities and the social system will support them.

To suggest that we can "eliminate" it is to eliminate freedom of choice and serves only as a political platfrom to accuse the administration of neglect.

Neither is acceptable.

Your instructor should know this.
