direct vote by all the people on every major issue. And because I would not be in charge, I could not come up with any rules, they would...it would not be a republic

A direct democracy with elections only to replace someone who is removed or quits to make coconut ashtrays...basically everyone would have a position in government at some level, because there would be no taxes...unless there was agreement of everyone to impose one for a special project (municipal bond)

I would have absolute power in all the workings of my island. People would bow to my wishes and worship at my feet. I would put political dissenters in boats and ship them off to Van Diemen's land. I would have my pick of any woman on the island, and my home would be rich and expansive... plenty comfortable to please my four hundred wives.

I am supreme dictator and totalitarian leader.
Everyone would love me and have no want for anything more then they have because I would provide all.

(the island would be small, the population smaller and all women and a few eunuchs. I like things simple.)

Peace

Jim
