Depends who it is for. My son? The sky is the limit! In fact I bought him a star for Christmas.

Definitely depends on a couple of things:
1)Who is the recipient?
2) How much money do you have to spend?
3) How old are you and do you have a job?
4) What is your entire holiday budget?
You really need to see what you can afford. If you do have some money saved up, here's my best advice for how much as average gift should cost.
- Best friend= $40-$75
- Good friend = $40-$50
-Colleague = $5-$10
- Random person = $2-5
Also, if you've exchanged gifts with that person before, then I would stick with the same amount you used last time. That way everyone knows what their budget is. I'd feel horrible if I bought my friend a $25 gift, and she gave me a $100 one.

gifts from the heart are priceless. you should rack your brain before giving anything because the idea is the person should really treasure it. doesnt matter how much it costs, but it could be priceless. say someone you know likes long skirts and instead of going out and buying one at the mall, you took the time to go through thrift shops and consignment shops or you made one that is just the right material or just the right color? that person would be thrilled that someone took the time to not only consider what they like but give a gift that is truely unique.

Depends. Gifts for secret santa at work are limited to $25, family $40, my kid: spoiled=no limit.

Depends on how much u like the person I guess 20 for a person u don't like 50 for friends and up to70 for family

depends on who the person is. if i see something that a sibling would like i get it. but if it were a friend i would set a limit of about 25
