I prefer sub-titles.

Subtitles.
Though they often don't translate literally, I find it's better to hear the actors' normal speaking voice than to have a terrible dubbed voice that does not fit what I think the actor should sound like.
Can't say I have a favourite, as I've seen so many foreign-language films (French, German, Japanese, Chinese, etc. etc). The one I've seen the most is probably "Diva" (1981)

Subtitles seldom if never translate to what the actors are saying.. I lived in Brasil where americam movies are popular and of course there they all had subtitles I was always amazed at how much was missed and what was losted in translation.

I prefer the subtitles, but to each his own...I just re-watched "Knike in the Water" Roman Polanski's first feature film!

Dubbing annoys me.. ( as it drives me nuts when the words and the lips don't mesh well)
