It seems to me that the Cowboys should have won by a greater margin and more decisive than they did since the Pack was missing a Key CB and lineman and one O-line man was hurt. I'm not making excuses for the Pack but obviously the Cowboys didn't have the game sown up until the last 5 minutes of the game.

I thought it was a great game. I really wasn't expecting GB to win with those two out. But, I expect these two to meet again in the Championship game and be even more exciting.

For many days people have been talking about this game. Who is going to win, who has the bigger advantage, things like that. So why would the Cowboys want to turn like the Pats? I think the Cowboys wanted to keep it exciting til the end becuz why would they want to run up the score? About the injuries think about the Colts. They lost almost all of their O-line players and lost Dwight Freeney. They still hung in their and beat the Chiefs. And last week, Harrison stilll wasn't back and the Colts killed the Falcons. Injuries are part of football and teams can win if their team loses a key player. So the Packers still had all their WRs and Brett Farve (except he got hurt during the game). On the defensive side, they still had the pass rusher Kampman. So it doesn't matter if a team has someone gone. It just depends if they can still work together. Also one last example, the eagles and pats game. McNabb out Feeley and has a big day against the pats. Many teams give up TDs to backup QBs becuz they think its going to be easy to stop this guy.

The Cowboys were on their way to doing just that. 5 scores on their first 5 possessions. As soon as Favre went out that game took a strange turn. I don't know what it was. I don't know if the Cowboys defense couldn't handle Rodgers, or if they just let up, or if the Packers defense got inspired by the gutsy play of Rodgers.
Whatever the case, as a Cowboys fan I hope these two meet up in the playoffs with everyone healthy. That game should have been a lot better.

Favre wasn't just burning up the scoreboard when he left the game. If he hadn't been injured, the game might have been a blowout for the Cowboys.
NO team writes a gameplan expecting to see a backup QB. And its impossible to predict how a backup will lead a team. Like when Romo took over for the Cowboys, the Green Bay backup played very well.
Sorry you were disappointed, but I like watching competitive games a lot more than tiresome butt-kickings any day.

Blowout or not, a win is a win and a loss is a loss, and we can dispute it all you want, but it wont change anything. The packers should accept the loss and try to go for the first round bye, since getting home field advantage will be very tough. At least if they go for the bye, they can rest their players the last coupla weeks.

Well, it's not like they didn't try, they went for a 4th down when in FG range and didn't make it and TO throws his TD pass to Al Harris for a pick in the end zone. That there was easily 10 more points for them thrown away, but give Rogers some credit also, he made some good throws and was very accurate.

Yes -- Cowboys shouldn't be easing up just because they believe they have the game won.

no, in fact if Farve didnt get hurt, it could have gone either way. They are quite evenly matched teams.
No one is even close to the patriots, however.
