I've doing a lot research on cheating. And have found that the resaons why women are cheating more, is because of a recurring theme. "Not getting attention." Women cheat apparently for "DEEPERS" resaons. Read any of these books like "To love, honor and betray" "Undressing infidelity." And look at what the findings are in those books. Now as a guy, I kind of laugh at that kind of stuff. Because it just sounds like they're trying to make women cheating sound classy. They're cheating for stronger, "real" reasons. When in all reality, if you look close enough. It's for SELFISH, opportunistic ones. But we pass it off as something more. I find that offensive. Because at the end, seemingly always the guys fault. Can you live up to the fairy tale!!

I totally agree with you. I am a woman and I cheated in my first marriage, it was more than he didn't pay attention to me but along those lines - but I still accept full responsibiliy for making such a terrible, dumb, hurtful CHOICE to cheat. Nobody should get off the hook. The affair was not the reason the marriage ended, it should have ended before that but I was weak and yes, SELFISH which is why I cheated instead of divorced (I did realize my mistake though and did divorce shortly thereafter).

Most men cheat to fulfill a physical need while most women cheat to fulfill an emotional need. Doesn't make either of the situations the right and moral thing to do. NO ONE, male or female, can live up to the "fairy tale". It isn't classy and I don't think I have ever read anything that would make me think that way. Men and women simply have different emotional responses. I can see why you would say cheating is for selfish reasons. Anytime a person cheats I would say they were being selfish because they should try to resolve the problems at home first.

People (man or women) are selfish, is human nature. We care more about ourselves than about others.
Attention is huge with women, but in reality if you think about it enough, you realize that is about communication.
Attention can not be given if the other party is unwilling to received it for whatever reason. So this is not a logical answer. Its a human one.

ladies like romance and men stop romancing there women after a short period of time but we need more all women want to be wanted and feel attractive after marriage husbands tend to forget what brought them together in the first place they ignore there wife andmake them feel lonely.the other men paying attention are ok for a while but a woman needs true love and very seldom ever get that from there husbands.
tell her how buetiful she is or how sexy she is say i love you more offten not only when she says it. buy her nice things not expensive just thoughtful

I have been cheated on twice and it hurts. I believe it may possibly be my fault because she probably lacked attention from me. I learned from my past mistakes and I advise everyone to learn from their mistakes as best as they can. The woman I am with now is the most precious person to me on this planet and she will never lack attention from me. We will get married, have 3 kids, buy a new house together, and grow old and happy together.

It does not matter if you are a woman or man. Cheaters have no morals. They are selfish individuals. That is all! They can give a reason all they want but I accept none of them.
Whether men or woman cheat more I would not know that or care.

well. yes that is right. women cheat bcos they are not sexually happy from their hubbies. They have their needs too. Men msterbate more easily then women making it tough for them. some times women cheat bcos of other reasons as well. open to private chat.

Yeah, I would agree with that. I just recently divorced for that exact reason. My husband paid no attention to me and refused to do things with me. And it's not money and things. It's feeling like they're genuinely interested (and in love) with you.
