Hi all, this is my first time on here and I really need some advise. I am currently living in France and cannot speak to anybody to get help.
Basically my period was 1 day early (Sunday 25th Nov 2007) lasted about 3-4 days but was light and on and off. I have also had cramp in my stomach and a very strange feeling, I also fainted on Wednesday 28th Nov, have nausea and now my boobs are leaking a clear liquid, I am also having problems sleeping and am always tired.
I went to the doctors and had a blood test to test for pregnacy but it was negative...BUT I am still convinced I am pregnant.
Could it have been to early for the test if I had only stopped bleeding 2 days before the blood test???????

Please help...do you think I could be pregnant???

Thank You

Vick

Wait till next cycle is due, test again.
All signs sound hopeful (assuming you want to be pregnant).

Well it's going to depend on when you think that you got pregnant....if you think that you got pregnant back in the middle of November...than no it wouldn't be too early to test.

And since you got a period I would think that the test was accurate. I got a postive blood test 3 days before my period was due (the Dr said the levels were low but they were there)

As for your symptoms...you should talk to the Dr about the possibility that something else is going on. Breasts leaking fluid can be a sign of a breast infection. Cramping & nausea can be signs of anything (even an ovarian cyst).

Of course since I don't know your cycle, when you ovulate, or when you think that you got pregnant....I would call the Dr again and ask him if it was too soon...or if you can have another blood test in a week. That way...if it's still negative you would know that it was accurate....and if it was too soon...then it could show that you are indeed pregnant.

And I've never leaked fluid from my breasts when I was pregnant...I just don't know if you are or aren't. There are too many variables and not enough info. Some women can experience all kinds of symptoms and not be pregnant....they are just so sure that their bodies act that way until they get a for sure 'no you're not".

Good luck...and I hope that things work out the way you want.

It definately sounds like you could be pregnant. You have the symptoms. Most blood tests will detect very early. But there have been times when women are pregnant and the blood tests and urine tests were negative. So i would suggest waiting at least a week maybe two then going back to the doctor and tell them the symptoms have not gone away. But if you faint again or if anything begins feeling really severe then go to the doctor sooner. Good luck. and feel free to keep asking questions. :-)

in 2005, I took NINE home pregnancy tests, and they all said I wasn't pregnant. I went to a doctor, who did a blood test, and he said that I wasn't pregnant.... I just KNEW that I was.... it's hard to explain how I knew, but I did.... I didn't have any symptoms of pregnancy, I just knew.... anyway, after ten negative tests, I finally bought another one from a dollar store, and it came out positive (I took all of these tests within a few day period, some days taking 3 a day)... that was in October, I think.... in May my gorgeous son was born. It is very possible. The doctor told me that if you got pregnant within 10 days, it wouldn't show up on a blood test, but I knew I was almost a month along....

It kinda sounds like you are. But since the blood test was neg. im not really sure. And i think it might be a little to early to be having symptoms, like your breasts leaking.

Yes i think it is early to say if you are pregnant. the pregnancy test is usually done 8 weeks after your last menstruation. normally a woman does not have her menses when she is pregnant.
