Yes as a matter of fact I feel that way now. It's funny to look at other responses and see how people think that it is just so simply an attitude. But what if bad things keep happening that you have no control over? In the past 13 years I have dealt with deaths of a sister-in-law, my mom, my dad and my brother. I've dealt with my dad having a stroke and my daughter being addicted to meth and abandoning her child. My husband lost his job and had to take a lower paying job. All of this stuff has happened around the holidays. So this year I think that maybe my family might actually have a carefree holiday and 2 days ago my husband falls down the stairs and seriously hurt his back. So yes, I definitely feel like happiness is always out of reach.

Hmmmm...seems like the story of my life. Just when I thought things were going well and we were both happy, something happened. I don't think I'll ever get my explanation either. Sad huh?
Here's to a better day...because I have faith.

Unfortunately, many, many times!
But something always comes to the rescue and I feel happy once again, although the moment may be brief.
Life is a type of cyclic experiences, we can not help respond to external stimuli.
Except of course the Village Idiot . . and he is mythic!
Therefore we have to be alert for what happiness comes our way, and grasp it, fully acknowledge it, and for heaven's sake, do it justice : ENJOY IT!!!

I used to feel like that but I've learned,
That you must reach out and grab it all the time.
Thank you very much :)
And the best of luck too!!

No. Happiness is easy to come by. True happiness is hard to find. For me that comes from loving someone who loves me and that I can not find.
