If you mean , who among the list players who are still alive and playing the game at different levels...my answer is "Brian C.Lara".

cricket is different form of game, divided into things, bowling, batting etc. and each category has there performers like (in current players)-
batting- sachin tendulkar (if u talk about best)
bowling-warne (had left), murali, kumble, brett, mcgrath(had left), pollock, vaas etc.
allrounder- jacques kallis
fielding too is an important part and some players are very good in that to.
