Not necessarily. You need to look at your grandmothers on both sides. I look pretty much like my mother's mother now (age 60), but not all that much like my mother. I looked so much like my father's mother when I was young that when I found a picture of her from when she was young, it was really startling. But then, my parents were both Pennsylvania German, so they came from the same basic gene pool. In fact, they were distant cousins.

yes its proven that moms daughters are a reflectio of them when they grown up. Moms tend to have stronger genes
