why would Saudi Arabia care about our nuclear power? We don't generate power from oil. We do it mostly from Coal power and hydro electric. i do however believe the most powerful nation in the world should spend more in Nuclear research than we do.

Our liberal "Environmentalist" movement, combined with Hollywood and the media destroyed our nuclear industry. Not anything else.
We owe our CO2 emissions level to our well informed knowledgeable liberal left. They knew much more than we stupid engineers and scientists did. Now they blame industry and the oil companies??? We also owe to them our dependence on foreign oil. And you still believe these people???? I just do not understand it.
France now produces about 80% of their power with Nuclear. They have very low CO2 emissions. They can probably sign the Kyoto protocol and laugh at our stupidity.

It isn't. You are way way off course. The far left in this country are the ones that have made nuclear power unpopular in the U.S.. They start the indoctrination in the class room and continue it in the media. It was in my youth that the ecology symbol was born and it filled my classes until high school. It suffered greatly from the Carter economy.

I DON'T THINK IT'S THE SAUDIS ON THIS ONE. THE ENVIRONMENTALIST WACKOS IN THIS COUNTRY JUST B*TCH ABOUT EVERYTHING INVOLVING ENERGY. THEY OPPOSE DRILLING FOR NEW OIL SOURCES, OPPOSE NUCLEAR ENERGY, DON'T LIKE COAL. I THINK THEY WOULD RATHER HAVE ALL AMERICANS LIVING IN CAVES WHILE DRIVING EITHER A BICYCLE OR A HORSE DRAWN WAGON.
