I am a fairly solitary person. (I have friends, but I pick and choose my times with them.)

The beauty is you can do anything you want.

Read, bake, run, gamble, drink, watch a movie, write a friend, and, most importantly, eat copious amounts of bacon.

I have dozens of answers to this as I prefer not to socialize alot due to my job and the fact I don't like people taking advantage of my helpfulness BUT!!! I love to read, I love to write in my journal , I love to figure out what numbers have been called on Hot Lotto and figure out if there is a sequence to them, like in Rain Man and he was kicked out of Vegas, but I am careful not to discuss the Hot Lotto sequence as I have been winning money lately and if I win the jackpot I will have to share it if someone figures out my system and they win the jackpot too, so lets talk about all the contests you can enter on the internet, I have won lots of stuff. Just enter in a search engine "New Sweepstakes" then have fun just entering contests and if you go somewhere to meet people learn to be an observer first. Watch out for the 'twitchers' they might be possessed. I hear that is a real problem back east. I used to think that meeting people was a blessing, then I met some of the more parasitic ones and it reminded me of the saying :there's nothing worse than being alone except wishing you were. I love the new movies out I can see on my laptop. I have never been lonely or bored since I discovered the internet. It is like walking into a hugh library and exploring any topic in the world and learning everything you ever wanted to know... What could be better than that??? Also, one more thing, I don't know if you like supernatural stories but an absolutely amazing author born 1869 and died this month in 1951 is Algernon Blackwood. I have never met anyone who can read his stories and not finished them to the end. He lures you into a benign situation than slowly he introduces, odd feelings and cold chills and strange occurances until the slightest noise in your home makes you jump, then sometimes he leads you through the story safely and you emerge in safe but shaken condition or something horrible happens but you never know quite what. Many Christmas surprizes to you.

I'm alone and I do my own thing. I don't like being on a schedule when I'm not at work. That can be anything from reading to doing this or taking a ride somewhere.

I read a lot, take pictures, go to the mall, book stores, to see a movie. I clean the house and get on the computer. Work takes up most of the time.
