pink is just a color...just like black, but when i bought a shirt that was pink my southern family thought i was sick or something

no, when guys wear pink it shows that they are preppy. so make sure its a polo and convince your family that its just a color and its in style for guys wear!

No it's not wrong - there are many things right with pink.
Yes pink is associated as a Gay color but it doesn't mean you are.
I'm surprised with a family in the south (assuming south US) that they don't appreciate pink - look at Southern Proper, search 'Carolina cup' in webshots or photobucket and you'll find a huge addornment of pinks on gentlemen - with excellent taste I may add.

No actually it isnt but in fact everyone would consider a man wearing pink shirts or something to be gay if you dont know that person but its a bit strange that your family reacted like that

I think it's cool that guys wear pink. But make sure the shirt is like a polo or dress shirt. and pair it with some cool jeans and shoes:)

It really depends on the guy and what shade of pink. If an African guy wears Magenta, somethings not right, and if a Caucasian guy wears a hot pink, it's not right. Shade and skintone really matter. So I can't judge wether or not you should wear pink.

It depends on whether you look good in it. Like to me billy ray cyrus looks good in pink joe jonas looks good in pink but I don't think most guys can pull pink off. I'm from the south- most guys look gay in it some guys look awesome in it. maybe you should take a picturre of u in it and ask this question again but include the pic

Absolutely not.
I look at pink as just another color. It happens to be a color that looks really good with my skin tone and hair color so I really don't care what other people think. But I'm gay so that may be playing in to a few rediculous stereotypes.

i in my opinion imagine that pink is not user-friendly to tug off on adult men. there is not any longer some thing incorrect with it, although this is basically not user-friendly to look sturdy in. individuals may have the opinion that pink is an exceedingly female color and that men could no longer placed on female outfits because, they'll look too girly!

i personally only like guys wearing pink when they have light hair!! iv never ever seen a pink shirt look hot on a dark haired guy but defo on light haired!! funny huh?? or maybe its just me!! they have to be tanned as well!! x

Some traditions are deep rooted especially with we southerners...lol
I personally think it takes a confident man to wear pink providing it suits his coloring.Some colors work with skin tone,hair color.etc. and some don't.
