I wouldn't call having 50 points (FIFTY!) hung on you by an unranked Arkansas team a good loss. And of the wins, four of those games their opponent had 24 or more points on them, are those good wins?

What overtime wins? The only OT games that LSU played in this year were against Kentucky and Arkansas, both of which were losses.

Brilliant question! LOL....nobody brings that up, now do they? ESPN should put that one in their pipe and smoke it. It is ridiculous to think LSU and their 2 Losses (Good losses, per say) can leapfrog so many teams to the number 2 spot. I don't care if you win your conference or not. Will Kansas be the real loser here? They sit at #4 as of last night with one loss while the number 1-2 teams fall.

Good point Boogie, LSU played several close games this season but only 2 OT games, which they lost. No team in the country has as many wins against top 10 teams or top 25 teams than LSU

Yes. Their overtime wins count less then a regulation win in the rankings. But hey, it is still a win, so it does count for something.

First of all, no loss is a "good" loss, however according to the BCS the way you win/lose does matter, so therefore some losses arent as bad as others. LSU never won in OT so your question doesnt really fit...

VERY NICE!!! I also like strength of schedule arguments but I bet Ohio state isn't complaining especially after barely beating Michigan who lost to APP STATE. How strong was Michigan's schedule then? How about Hawaii's bad wins? Why is being undefeated so bad?

That is the same question I just asked a few minutes ago, they are highly over rated. The better team in the division didnt even play yesterday, which is unfortunate because Ga vs. OSU would make for a wonderfiul game

They should follow the pro game sudden death

interesting logic. I wouldn't call them good, but they are better than being embarrased in regulation by Standford, or Colorado.
