can any one plz tell me, what causes a fire in a lab...thanx!!!

Fires in labs are caused when there is an excessive amount of phlogiston in the lab.
Try cleaning up the excess phlogiston to prevent fires.

Unattended Bunsen burners and hot plates. Electrial shorts. Smoking. Static electricty.

Jim is right. I mean, it could be a ton of things. Lots of hazardous things go on in labs. You have to be careful.
