Your completely right. Thank you for proving such a strong point. Thank you for showing me that there really isn't a point to living. I'm going to go kill myself. Thank you for pointing the way.
LOLz! Nah, I'm just kidding.
Our race has always been curious. We always wanted to know, to see, and to learn. When we were cave people, we learned by thinking to ourselves 'Whats on the other side of that mountain? Is it food that will help me survive? Is it shelter to keep me warm?' Because of our thriving need to know more about our surroundings, we began to evolve farther and farther up the evolution ladder.
Now how is this related to your question?
Well think about it. Some where in the back of our minds, we are remembering our cave days, where all we wanted to know, was 'whats over that hill?', now we are wondering whats over the most mysterious of all hills.Death.
Most people find death to be a horrible end, when at the same time it could just as likely be a new beginning. So what's the use of living if we don't know whats on the other side? Well that's like asking the cave people 'Why climb that hill if you don't know whats on the other side?'. That's why we live. We live to climb over that hill. We live to die, and die to live. But that doesn't mean you should run over that hill at full speed trying to find what death is like, you wont be prepared. Life is just a long lesson that is preparing us for what we will find on the other side. So live your life long and happily, and when your time does come, you'll be prepared.
That is why we live.
If you are interested in An extremely good book having to do with what's on the other side, then i suggest you read 'Elsewhere' by Gabrielle Zevin. It's a fantastic story that I'm sure you would enjoy.
Hope i helped! !~Bye4Now~!

That may be a serious issue to you personally which would make you conclude that anyone who wasn't like-minded was foolish. And you're entitled to your opinion!
Speaking for myself, I would rather be "foolish" and enjoy living for the relatively short period of time I'm alive than worry about something in the future that I have no control over.

Don't waste your time worrying about the end of life or what comes afterwards. You only get one turn here on this planet - make the most of it.
I don't believe there's any real meaning to life, just a set of incredible opportunities that brought us here. Enjoy the ride.

A "new light"? Cool. For those desperately searching, make sure you look into The Holy Word of God also.
Isaiah 5:20
Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!
2 Corinthians 11:14
And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.

Actually, you can know. If you accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, then you can rest assured that you will enter Heaven when you die. But if you reject him, then you will certainly end up in Hell forever. Simple as that. Being a good person won't do anything for you--that's a myth.

Life is for the living. If you think you are here only to die then you have wasted your entire life. You better make the most of it cause you only go around once.

I used to think that, but I thought, since there really is no point to life, except for living it, then that's exactly what we should do.
You should just try to live it the best you can! ^^

Easy, make the best of it while you can, enjoy yourself but not forgetting to lead a good life, love thy neighbour etc. There's only one turn on the roundabout, once you fall off.....................
