the fact that LSU won the SEC title is there strongest claim to jumping over UGA. The overtime losses is just whining. Doesnt count if you lose in OT. its like grade school kids who make up the rules as they go along, (them and the BCS)
Yet the only reason they didnt play UGA today is Tennessee beat them. they are a strong team and if they were in any other conference there would be no talk of leap frogging them. Any way you look at it though its very messy.
and crying does seem to work, just ask urban meyer
speaking of crying, watch the OSU Illinois game
Ill first TD was a fumble that didn't get called. If that was called correctly, maybe OSU and Ill would have been in OT, you don't hear them crying at all about that.

The deal is that now every team is trying to make their case about why it should be them in th National Championship. The only way to do that is to rate your wins and losses. All these analysts see that LSU has the best case because their wins came against the strongest conference in college and the fact that their 2 losses came in the ridiculous college OT system.
The NCAA needs to have an open forum online and get the fans' ideas for change with the BCS and the OT system that's in place. College football is probably the best sport to watch all season long, but it definitely has the most outrageous, off-the-wall systems to determine winners and losers.

The reason for all the hype is that LSU is a great team. Only, two losses, and those came in OT. The difference? They had no losses in games that went four quarters. That earns them some bragging rights, IMO.

everyone's jumping on georgia and praising lsu you know
one of those teams that took lsu to 3 of's georgia beat quiet
badly in regulation time also 8 of the 12 teams georgia
played were in the top 20 at sometime during the season
no I don't think we should be in the ncs this year because
we did't win the conferance and we are in a rebuilding year

well, since three 2 loss teams seem to be talked about the most, you look at who LSU has beaten, and then look at how they loss, (3OT) it's a pretty convincing case if you ask me. My question is, why is Georgia ranked 4th if nobody seems to want them there? it's more likely that the 6, 7, and 8 teams are going to jump over VT, Kansas, and Georgia to play Ohio, that seems inconsistant.

LSU is going for the same thing Florida did last year. Cry about it and hope they feel sorry for you.

georgia is the same team they were last week. the same team voted #4 even though they knew they would not be in the sec title game. Now you say lsu should jump them to #2 when the time is right.. I believe I've seen this two more times this year--outcome is LSU chokes

LSU would have more lose but they got lucky on more than one game winning late in the fourth quarter. i do not think that they deserve to go. screw who won their conference, kansas is a one loss team and hawaii has not been beaten
