I'm afraid, judging by peoples bigoted reactions, it would appear so. It seems as though whenever something happens, people jump on the bandwagon and start to criticise something they clearly know nothing about.

itthat is just human nature. The truth of the matter is....it makes the case that american politics is full of corruption...on both sides of the aisle. I am not so sure that some rogue IRS agents trying to make life hard on tea partiers compares to some of the shenanigans that went on say during the Nixon adminstration or even more recently during the Bush administration and Bush years to try to gain " a permanent Republican majority" as Karl Rove put it.... but I am sure, that some Republicans probably think its worse than Watergate..that Benghazi is worse than Watergate etc... lol The tax code does not so much need simplification...which I will admit simplification is not a bad thing...but what the tax code really needs for the overall fiscal/economic well being of the country and citizenry at large is to have more of a mission that harkens back to during the eras that our country did way better....the notion that the rich should pay a greater share than what they pay now..and that big corporations should have less tax breaks, and that govt exists to serve all of the people and is not just a tool to increase and protect the wealth of the rich and the big corporations they own. Having said this....I think the capital gains could and should be raised to 25%. I think the top marginal tax rates should go back to what they were before our decline began.....to be specific, to what they were when Ronald Reagan took office say around 1980, which was a 70% top marginal rate. What I would do is keep the rates as they are now for everyone...but starting around $300,000 go progressively to 41%, maybe around $400,000 go to 43%, then at $500,000 45%...and on and on...until once you make over $ 3 million you are at a 50% bracket up until you get to say if you make over $10 million you are at a 70% top bracket. Yeah yeah ..I know some of you think this is crazy but its actually a very practtical plan...and I guarantee that a) we would not have a budget deficit problem...and that our roads would be nicer and our bridges safer and we would even be talking about improving medicare and social security for our citizens instead of cutting them.....

I wouldn't say unveiled. You could use the term 'caused' though. Just because an incident causes hate it doesn't mean that there was any animosity before the event . I still don't mind the Muslim community but I think the whole thing is a little ridiculous.

Don,t answer much on here anymore, but the note able thing is the band who use two words, racist and bigot.Because someone,s view isn,t that little gangs views, out come these words.Got to hand it to some, letting go in case the crusade slows down is definitely not going to happen.Realising the difference between hate for Muslim terrorists and Muslims in general at this moment in time is only to be expected, and of course will pass as current events fade, but i for one am sick of the words racist and bigot. Many people say something in anger,or the heat of the circumstance, like being chopped up while driving,do the EG Muslims say nice white guy made a simple error or do they say that fff white honker just??? That's right your perfect, along with many more.Is fraud accounts OK ,maybe in this area one can really stir the mud,and I'm sure religious laws of any kind don,t condom this.Note, hows bracebridge

No, it's highlighted the hate a lot of Sudanese Muslims have towards the British. There were thousands of Muslims demanding for that poor woman to be executed, and it's wrong. The only Muslims I hate are the ones who are insistent on blowing us all to smithereens, or have a lust for murder; i.e. the fanatics. Islam is a peaceful religion, and people like those in Sudan only give the many thousands of decent Muslims a bad name, and cast a cloud over the religion.

Well, it's unveiled the hate a lot of Muslims feel toward silly middle aged western women, don't you think ? I feel it is time the two cultures parted, Muslim and Christian societies going their seperate ways. I am concerned that Muslims in the west are being denied the right to live under Sharia law, enforced by Iranian style policing. This must be a problem in the UK where they must feel frustrated that their misdemeanors are not be met with a sufficiently violent level of punishment. They must find this lack of oppression very frustrating.

What it does show is how the media manipulate the minds of Joe Average.
Governments want a scape goat and the media provide it.
This should show any right thinking person that polotitions control the media so it will control the masses, and the way they think. The western media is owned by the same few people whos interests need government protection..!!
Just look at all the Joe Averages giving other Joe Averages the thumbs up..!!

Only a trouble maker like you could try and blame the British for any increased tensions that may exist. If they exist that is. It is not hatred, bigotry or racism that has caused an outcry against Sudan, it the is brutal regime that exists in that benighted country.
There is no indication that there is mass hatred against all muslims and you know it. It is the muslim fanatics who people hate, and why shouldn't they? People are only human.
Why are you here if you hate us so much? To stir up trouble, or worse? It is you who is full of hate Kamran not us.

I think it has unveiled the hate the sudanese feel for the british, kill a woman for a teddy bear infraction. I think it has also pulled back the sheets on the maggot infested rotting corpse the sudanese call a justice system. When they don't even arrest their own people for inciting hatred, and that in turn has illustrated the racist mentality they harbour. It has also uncovered the their true thanks for the food, aid and skilled labour that go there to try and help them out of the dark ages.
I just hope people who were considering going there have learned a valuable lesson at Gillians expense.

I don't think so, it has raised a few jokes about Sudans president is invited to a teddy bears picnic. that kind of thing. i heard that some graphic designer has put up a fake flyer to a teddy bears picnic in his myspace page. and put his country as sudan. but is he making fun of something real serious are just been political. no way of knowing. could just be someone trying to cause trouble as well.
