Depends on the person . . . "techincally" conceptio can occur at ANY time in a womans cycle, YES even during a period . . .

If intercourse is regular a woman CAN ovulate more than once in a cycle, and so the "regular" ovulation time is not a guaranteed way to have "safe zones"

They have a word for women who rely solely on the "counting" and "safe days" method of contraception

i don't know the exact statistics but it is confident to say that the chances of you getting pregnant for having unprotected sex 1 week before ovulation is next to nil or that time certainly falls into your "safe period".

well, i guess that depends on if you are totally sure on your ovulation dates. but if you have sex before you ovulate, there is no egg to fertilize. sperm only lives about 72 hours. I would say not too likely.
