Isn't the cervix supposed to go back to being low, hard and closed soon after ovulation?

Normally mine does but it hasn't yet and i'm about 5 or 6 days past ovulation. I check a few times a day because I know it can change during the day depending on bowel movements but it's always the same, High, not too hard and still not closed. Is it normal for it to do this? I know my body wouldn't even know i'm pregnant yet for my cervix to stay high.

Yes, it should go back to being low after the ovulation and period but I would recommend checking with your doctor as well to see what they say.
