Hawaii deserves to have no chance, because they refuse to put any real teams on their schedule. If you're in the WAC and you have any aspirations of being seen as a real football team, you need to scheduled the big boys. Hawaii keeps refusing to do that, and this is the price they pay.

I'm sure any SEC team would love to play Hawaii, since it would be an easy blow out victory for them.

The BCS let Boise State in on a weak schedule when they went undefeated. It would be an injustice to not let a 12-0 team play in a BCS Bowl game regardless of how bad their schedule is....REMEMBER....Michigan lost to App State...USC lost to Stanford....Hawaii can beat any of those teams at the top if those other two upsets can occur.....and Hawaii's offense is something fierce...I'm not so sure it would be that big of an upset if they beat one of those higher teams...

Nation Title? Nah....LSU, USC, OU, OSU, Georgia, and Kansas are all more deserving at this point of being in the title game...If their defense was more consistent....I'd say maybe...but since they get no love from the BCS voters (or anyone) how do we know that they aren't better if they haven't played anyone? They went undefeated, nobody has tested how good they are...they deserve that test.

Look guys, Hawaii is going to a BCS game. Rivals.com has predicted the Sugar Bowl against the Dawgs. I believe that they should have a little consideration to be in the title game.

PEOPLE LISTEN: It is not that Hawaii has refused to play a powerhouse and top 25 team, it is the other way around. Top 25 teams refuse to go to Hawaii in fear of jet lag. If you get jet lag you can't do anything let alone play a football game. They tried to get Michigan to play but refused.

I don't see why not. Everyone had the same complaints about Boise State last year, then they surprised everyone by beating Oklahoma. It's not their fault they are in a weak conference, so why punish them when they run the tables? Maybe they would win, maybe they would get crushed...point is, we'll know for sure. If they don't play for the title, they may play in the Rose Bowl now that Ohio State is going to New Orleans. USC vs. Hawaii may prove to be interesting.

They are receiving an at-large birth in a BCS game they will probable go to the Fiesta Bowl because it is closer to their home. However, they should be playing for the National Championship they are the only undefeated team left.

sure, If you are talking about having some teams jump 4-6 spots, then why not have hawaii jump 11 spots?

this is a unique situation, because the voters pretty much have a clean slate and can vote based off of the whole season.

How a 12-0 is not even close to the top 5 in the polls at the end of the year is just another indicator of how ridiculous it is to determine championships by said polls...

I'll tell you why Hawaii shouldn't be considered. They're the champions of a weak WAC conference and haven't beaten ANYBODY. I watched them almost lose to my alma mater (Louisiana Tech). It went to overtime and came down to a missed 2-point conversion when Tech went for the win. Later in the season Tech played LSU and lost 58-10. Last night Hawaii played a home game against a Washington team that was 4-7 in the Pac-10 and squeaked out a victory when they intercepted a pass in the closing minutes. It's a shame they're going to take the place of a legitimate team in a BCS bowl. Would everyone please stop this talk about Hawaii being in the championship game???
