Ron Paul would like for abortion rights to be back in the hands of the individual states. If that disaster were to befall America, the USA would be a hodgepodge of *free* states and *slave* states. In order to enable economically-deprived women who desired abortions to get them, a new (and legal) charitable "Underground Railroad" system would HAVE to be created to ferry them from the slave states to the free ones, and back. And many of them would still fall through the cracks.
Thus, Ron Paul is a BIGOT. And we've had more than enough of that in the White House already, with Bush!

As much as I like some of his positions...
He is quite ignorant of international problems and has not the capacity to be an "international leader". So far I know, he even never left the US.
I also don´t think that deleting the table for negociations (UN) is a solution toward a more peaceful world (as much as I accept criticism toward the UN).
He would be the right candidate for a US having no soldiers abroad and completely withdrawing from international trade.
He is the right candidate for the 19th century US... (as much as I like some of his stances).

Oh please, only a fool doesn't see him for what he is. Hitlary's version of Ross Perot. There's a reason why he gets lots of money and does well in the internet polls. It's because the DummyRats are making him the GOP's Sanjia. In polls where only registered Republicans can vote he performs laughably at best. Don't fall for the evil Clinton's plan to split the GOP once again.

I might not agree with everything he says, but I do agree that he has a lot of integrity. Win or lose, he raises the tone of the GOP race.
