I think I would like a starry or glittery wing of a butterfly... ^_^

Mine would be dark, with deep blue streaks tapering toward the wingtips...and fully retractable...so if I had a shirt on...you wouldn't know I had wings...
But when I expanded them in an instant...they would fan out with a full body length on both sides, and you couldn't see through them because they'd be thick with dark feathers, and be able to instantly zoom me up into the air at almost lightning speed and grace...and enable me to "hover" in the air above you, as I gaze down upon your beauty with dark blue, lustful yet gentle eyes of love...
Or...if you were a "bad" guy...they would gaze down upon you with Dark Eagle eyes of fury...and you would then notice that the tips of my wings had retractable claws...
Kaw Kaw!
Whoosh!
As I disappear into the starry sky, and blaze a trail through the floating clouds...

I agree with you- glittery butterfly wings would look cool. If not that, than wings similar to those Max has in the "Maximum Ride" series. This is a really cool question, by the way! ^_^

Really pretty butterfly wings. They'd be sky blue and lavender, and they'd shimmer whenever I flew.
Either those or wings that looked like mother-of-pearl. I think those two types would be really cool.
And this isn't a silly question! I think it's interesting ^_^

The wing has 3 parts, the flat part, the drummette, and the tip. They break them off at the 2 joints and serve the flat part and drummette as wings, and discard the tip. It's all wing!

Big butterfly wings. Lavender, sparkling, lots of detail and different shades of purple. Somewhat transparent. Fragile and beautiful. They would carry me across the sky...

I would like to have wings like a sugar-coated almond. The sugar coated effect will make my wings look bright and glittering. The almond shape will make it look WOW!!!
