i very rairly answer if it goes on to a second page
no doubt you wont get best answer because you are at a dis- advantage because some people dont bother to even read the second page whilst choosing best answer they see a good one ont the first and think i cant be bothered waiting for it to load the second page and plum for a good one on the first
also like you say no doubt by then your answer will have already have been said

If the question was a really really good one I would.
I am sure several people may have already answered the same way I did.. especially if the question is under "Polls and Survey". The asker may or may not read every answer, if it was my question I certainly would! The question might or might not get lost in the crowd, that would depend on the asker as well.

Hell I don't answer if it's moved to more than one page. I think there's still value in answering when someone else has said what you're going to say sometimes, though. It can reinforce that particular answer. But after 30, 40, or 50 answers, that's too much. I would read them all if it was my question, but not otherwise. So since I don't look at many answers after 1 page, I doubt other people will. Thus, no thumbs up or down, which dims the fun.

I would still try to get my voice in on the matter. Even if it's been said countless times it only shows the person reading it that a group of people share the same idea on a subject, and that the answer might actually be right there in front of their face the hole time. I'm not some one who cares about the points on this site. My only care in this is that I might actually be able to help someone out and that I also might make a few new friends.

If I was the asker, I would read every answer. I probably would not answer if there were that many. It depends if it was a serious question from someone wanting help or if it was just one of these poll questions.

I have always been one lost in a crowd. So it wouldn't matter either way to me if I answered a question that already had 200 answerer's. Still 2 Pt's.

Sure, why not? I put my answer down and then I read some of the other answers. If mine gets lost in the crowd, well, then, so be it!

It doesn't bother me. I was once the last person to answer and I answered a couple of days later than everyone else, but I got the best answer. The questioner's reasoning was he had been waiting for a different and better answer. What can it hurt to answer?

It would probably end up at the end ? that way it would get read.
I still answer when there are a lot of answers and if someone has said the same thing then so be it.
(I submit my answer before I read everyone elses anyway)

If the question had the 'stuff' it took at that moment to consider answering it, YES, I would
> Probably yes, although in different word form
> If it was a question that he/she really wanted to learn from, yes
> Very possibly, yes, but that is the chance you take in any question asked and answered
