It depends on who the guest is.
None of the guest hosts seem to be ignored,but some of them are just more talkative than others.

The View last week,and I noticed she was kind of quiet.I think she was quiet because she didn't know anything about the current issues the ladies of The View were discussing.

I think they're pretty respectful. Like when Jessica Simpson was co-hosting they let her talk about her clothing line so she didn't have to participate in the "Hot Topics" and embarrass herself. Someone who doesn't even know that "Chicken of the Sea" is not chicken but tuna probably won't have much intelligent input in a discourse on current events.

I think respect left the view when Barbara Walters made back stage comments...even if I hate Heather Mills...it's extremely unprofessional of a journalist.
