She is Ihvonie Maravillo Sevilleno, and has ripped me off for 22,000 Pesos - telling me she can get me a house to rent and keeping the money. Also she charged me 10,000 Pesos for work by a bogus video production company and I have seen no results for the money I paid. This is called TOKS Productions.
BEWARE OF THIS WOMAN !! She is a Professional Fraudster.
Can anyone help me get my money back - It was in July 2007 she was paid, and all I get is excuses when I ask her for my money back. I am now moving to Cebu, as Bacolod was a waste of time and money for me.
I want this woman in Court !! But I need an agency who specialize in debt collecting as they know the legal system and what to do.

Thanks to anyone that can help. JIM MAXWELL

Jim, The first step you are going to need to do before a court action is file a complaint with the Barangay Captain and then if you don't get any result you can file in the courts. Where in Cebu do you plan on living? I live in Lio-an which is North of Cebu City.

Jim a collection agency isn't going to help on this one. What you need to do is file a case with the police. Probably still won't get your money back, but it will let everyone else around know she is a fraud and a cheat.

Have you been to or considered Iloilo City ? We are only one hour away by fest ferry and it's just as nice as Bacolod. The differance being there is more of everything here.

I know where there is a brand new 3br 2 ba expat styled house availible in Ledesco subdivision. Comes with aircon, and has installed hw heaters and is brand new. I also know a few other people here that have rental properties we could look at.

I am not a realator. Just another American who has lived here for the past 6 years. Send me an e mail if you'd like to know more. Good luck.

Thank you for this warning, if we can simply call it that. In the old days before the Internet, your accusations/statements above, would be easily considered grounds for a libel suit or personal defamation. Also, the accused is offered no chance to face the accuser and present a defense.

To move to Cebu when your object of interest is in Bacolod, and where the party in Question appears domiciled, might not be a good idea. Shouldn't you stay in Bacolod and see it through? After all, the Court would surely ask for your presence.

i think it's better off you handle this situation to a lawyer there. there's no such thingas a debt collecting agency. if you want to handle this in the court, get a lawyer, they will handle these things in a good way and they will do all the working for you and that you don't need to worry about a thing. by the way how did you send her money? is it western union or something? i hope you have keep your receipts of those payments so you have evidence of this case.
