When you ask about "Aries Star", I wonder if you might mean Aries' brightest star, α Arietis whose common name is Hamal, an Arabic word for "the lamb". Hamal is 66 light years away, and it can be easily viewed as a naked eye magnitude 2 star, albeit not that bright, as long as you know where to look. At the current time of year, Hamal is up well above the eastern horizon in the evening sky.
Aries is a constellation, a group of stars that ancients imagined as tracing out the shape of a ram, a male sheep.
The other thing about Aries is that it is a zodiacal constellation, which means that the pathway through the sky of our closest star the Sun goes right through it. The Sun is in Aries each year from March 21st until April 19th. So during these weeks of the year you could say that the Sun replaces Hamal as "Aries star"!

When 'modern' astrology was being developed over 2000 years ago, Aries was the constellation in which the Sun crossed the equator at March equinox (Spring Equinox for people living in the Northern hemisphere). At the time, there was not much difference between astronomy and astrology.
This point is the start point to measure celestial longitudes (and right ascension).
Even today, the point is still called "the first point of Aries" even though the Spring Equinox no longer takes place in Aries.
About 2000 years ago, (at about the time that astrology and astronomy began to part ways), the "first point of Aries" moved into Pisces.
This is because of precession, a 25,800-year wobble of Earth's rotation axis. This was known to Classical Greek astronomers (and others, like the Egyptians and the Mayans).
The position of Spring Equinox is now moving into yet another constellation: the water bearer. This is the reason for the words in the song:
This is the Dawning of the Age of Aquarius, Age of Aquarius....
(now, I'll be stuck with this tune in my head for the rest of the day)
If we use the IAU's official border for the constellation Aquarius, then we still have quite a few years to go; but if we use the classical borders (from 2000 years ago), we are very close to the Age of Aquarius (there goes that tune again).
So, if you were born on March 22 in the late 1900s, the Sun was in the constellation Pisces (the Fish) at the time of your birth, near the border to Aquarius (the Sun enters Aries around the 18 or 19th day of April).
Astrology does not recognize precession and, if you try to mention it, astrologers will claim that there is a difference between constellation and Zodiac Houses, and that the planets know better than us where they are...

During Hipparchus' time this was located in the constellation Aries, the Ram. This fact of history gave everlasting fame to one of the smallest and dimmest constellations of the zodiac. From that time hence, even though the vernal equinox slowly drifts along the ecliptic, it has been referred to as the "First Point of Aries." This could get confusing if we forget its historical origin, for the "First Point of Aries--the vernal equinox--is currently in the constellation Pisces, the Fishes, just west of Aries.

There is no "Aries star." It is a constellation, and a rather indistinct one at that. There are two easily visible stars and the rest are faint. It lies just below, (south of), the great square of Pegasus, and west of Taurus. At this time of year it can be seen high in the sky in the early evening.
If you are looking for astrological information, there is none which would be of any use. Astrology is bunk.

Astronomy is a real science.
Astrology is someones idea to bilk people out of their hard earned money by telling them what they want to hear and making them pay for the pretty words. There is no science involved in astrology. You are a fool if you believe in such nonsense.
