I have a Christmas party to go to - and I have a lavender/lilac chiffon spaghetti strap dress that I love - but I'm afraid that the color is inappropriate for a Christmas party (work party). What do you all think?

itll be fine as long as you accesorice it right. eg get some silver shoes, silver jewellery and a silver clutch bag. wear silvery illuminating make up ull be the belle of the ball! hope u enjoy ur party!

Sounds a bit light to me, I would go for a darker colour myself at this time of year.

I would not wear it! Jewel tones, black and ivory are the color of the season...not lilac!

nicely, i could not inspect the brown one yet from the outline, i think of that one might look extra advantageous. although, i don't think of it is going to bypass too nicely with the silver heels and in case you somewhat need to placed on those heels, you ought to placed on the white gown. i think of the brown one could be extra casual-ish yet nevertheless formal adequate. The whites slightly too formal, for my section. desire this helped :)
