when u fall on the floor,its not pt. of dancin,an u look around to see if theres something that needs doing b4 u get up.u actculy stop at stop signs,u don't do donuts in the parkin lot,if it ain't broke,don't fix it

Good morning Father. I believe you know you're grown up when younger friends start dying. And when your family who you miss terribly all have their own lives. And when you can learn to make the most of what is near at hand rather than longing for what is long past. Acceptance is the key to making some of our lives livable.That, and being kind to ourselves and to others. I think you are grown up only when you are at the age when:
You need your glasses to FIND your glasses.
Your back goes out more than you do.
Everything hurts. And if it doesn't hurt, it doesn't work.
The gleam in your eye is the reflection of the lamp on your bifocals.
I hope we aren't supposed to be grown up any sooner than that! If we are I have the excuse of never having gotten the memo..... â¥

Certain things don't seem so funny anymore.
You get bored of going to the pub.
At 8 o'clock in the evening you're half asleep on the sofa

Yeah an old git just like me - and yeah its true that every dog has his day, and when we were young we were like superman do anything and be young forever, that bloody mirror keeps telling me differently I now see an old git that doesn't ike loud things, flash things back chat - and now time has finally escaped us, look back and wonder if that kid next door is as bad as you were all those years ago
