One of you could have the "Bombay phenotype". Most people who are type O have two nonfunctional copies of the gene that attach the A or B carbohydrates that lead to A or B blood antigen. In rare instances, folks lack the ability to make the H antigen that the A and B sugars are attached to. So you can have the "B" geneotype but still be type O. If a child gets a good copy of the H antigen gene from the other parent, the B antigen producing gene from the other parent can be expressed in the child.

The Rh antigen is encoded on a different protein and so is unrelated.

If both of you are O+ then there is no way for your daughter to be B-. The rhesus (+ /- ) component is OK, since you could both be heterozygous, that is +-, and she has inherited the - from both of you.

However, if you or her father have not been tested in many years, I would suggest that the expression on the red cell antigen is very weak for one of you, probably the father, since you would probably have been tested at the birth of your daughter. He is probably group B+, but weakly expressing. Go and get him retested with this in mind.
The other options are that you have been unfaithful and it is not his child, or that there has been a mix up at the hospital and she is not your child.
Take your pick.

Edit: I would then go and get your husband tested for a weakly expressing B antigen.

Have all and sundry retested. Its not plausible for ii(type O) and ii to make a Ai/AA baby (type a) so indexed under are the techniques a million. they gave you the incorrect blood type for somebody 2. you cheated w/ an type A or AB guy or woman 3. the well being middle gave you the incorrect baby ( it happens)

Blood type is inhereted from both parents. In your case maybe her mother is B-.The concept of heridetary is hard to explain in this area. Kindly read some articles in your encyclopedia at home for more information.

how about your parents each. you are o+ because the genes for it was dominenent over other type contributed by your each's parent. blodd group is a test to see if the blood reacts with certain anitgenes and is considred v imp to aviod any reaction from recepients immune system.

in your daughter gene for b-ve is dominenet over o+.
