Then you really lose! If the lost and found box is lost someone will have found the lost box!

you become creative and make a new one. One that looks exactly like the one you lost, so when someone comes along and asks for something they had lost, you'll just show them the box and say "i guess it's still lost". Which wouldn't be a lie. Because it IS lost, right?
