Anyone between LSU, Virginia Tech, Oklahoma, or USC. These are 4 legit teams that have a better resume' than the other teams.
LSU - Won the toughest conference and two losses came in tripple OT
Va Tech - Loss only 2 games to teams ranked #2 at the moment. If they played LSU today, the outcome would not be 48-7
Oklahoma - Won the second best conference over a current #1 team in stunning fashion.
USC - Won Pac 10 and is playing great football at the moment.
Kansas and Georgia should not be mentioned due to the fact that they didn't win their division and the team that represented their division in the conference championship games were beaten by two of the above teams.

It will probably be OSU vs LSU although i dont think either one really deserve it, but this year no one does. I think any team in the top 10 right now would beat OSU they arent very good. They are 10-1 and didnt play anyone at all. Now all you OSU fans can yell and scream at me, but who exactly did you beat? Michigan, who lost to App St. LSU will get in because for some reason the bcs people love them. This is my argument why not take the teams that are playing the best at this moment, Oklahoma and USC. Both are confrence champions, sorry Georgia and Kansas, but you arent. Both played in good confrences, sorry Hawaii, you didnt. Only one team that will be in a BCS game will be able to claim they beat the #1 team in the country....that team is Oklahoma. USC and Oklahoma had bad losses, Stanford and Colorado come to mind. The two best teams in the country will not be playing for the NC because of the way things worked out, but whoever plays OSU will win, unless it is LSU then who knows, because LSU has played horribly for about 3 weeks and OSU during those 3 weeks lost and did like they have all year......played no one.

Well lets start by eliminating the teams behind Ohio State. Georgia and Kansas are eliminated based on the fact that they did not win their division. I'm not talking about the conference. The division. Next up you have Virgina Tech who won the ACC title but they are eliminated based on the fact that LSU is right behind them and LSU beat them by 41 points. The voters will take that into consideration when voting. USC is hot but is to far down to move up the the 2 spot. I could see Oklahoma moving up that far based on the whooping they put on Missouri but it will be LSU or Oklahoma.

Well, there will be many opinions on this. But, if they were to put in the team right behind Ohio State in the national rankings, it will probably be Georgia.
Although, the computer rankings they use might say otherwise. It could be LSU or Virginia Tech.

in 2001 the cornhuskers play for the championship after not winning the big 12 so the argument about uga not winning the sec is not a legitament reason to call them out
to send vt you would have to argue against the 41 point loss to lsu
to send lsu they would have to pass uga and vt who won the acc
kansas played to weak of a schedule
usc only won 2 games against opp. who had a winning record
and ou would have to jump ahead of 3 other teams ahead of them that won today
the best thing for the bcs would be to just move everyone up 2 spots

Georgia was #4 going into this weekend's games. #1 Missouri and #2 West Virginia both lost. Logically #3 Ohio St will move up to the #1 spot and Georgia will move up to #2.
