One: You would never get the chance to do so.
The can would explode as it entered the zero
atmosphere nature of space...Why, the inside
of the can has 14 PSI pressure and space has
zero atmospheric pressure.

Two: The contents would shoot out and freeze
instantly. The temperatures in outer space are
extremely cold, about absolute zero (that is not
zero degrees F).

Due to release of the gasses formed inside, and relaxation of the pressure inside the can you would be propelled in direction opposite the opening...ask Isaak Newton, his third law of thermodynamics...every action has a counteraction...

You wouldn't have to open it, because as soon as it was in outer space the atmosphereic pressure inside the can would make it explode by itself.
