Will America be heading into a recession in the near future?

Yes, the whole Western world is facing a huge credit crunch, the product of years of plastic consumerism, bankruptcy and unpaid loans. There is also the problem of importing more and more goods from China and the Far East with ever increasing oil prices in the backdrop.

King George's donkey government is already collapsing. King Clinton set it up, and King George finished it off. Both were living on the Reagan economy he set up in the 80s with lower taxes and more freedom. It has taken it this long to be destroyed. The only way George has gotten by this long is his tax cuts which always result in a better economy, more taxes collected, and more opportunity.

But toying with a free enterprise system has great dangers, and it can be destroyed by government edicts and meddling, a central bank which always plunders the economy (Federal Reserve Bank), and tax increases.

Inflation is rampant (just look at the price of food, which King George took out of the inflation index) due to the unlimited printing of money George has enjoyed, which has destroyed the dollar.

We are set up for a World War, which the bankers always use to clean up the mess they made. A recession will trigger it as the people start to suffer.

All wars are political. Don't forget it.

What's clear now is that this economy is in trouble. The credit crisis is roiling global financial markets. Housing prices and sales are down, with millions of foreclosures beginning to have far broader effect. Oil is at $100 a barrel. The dollar is sinking; gold is near record highs. Food prices are rising. Parents might well be tightening their belts while trying to find toys that won't poison their children.
