i was just wondering if they showed it on the news in other countries n stuff

Sorry, we don't get real news in the U.S. anymore - unless it is about Britney Spears or Lindsey Lohan, or the state of our TV shows because of the writer's strike. I only can find out what is really going on by listening to the liberal radio station (Air America Radio, available on line at www.airamerica.com). And even they don't talk about Australia. The last time I heard much was during the 2000 Olympics. I guess you have no oil so Bush isn't planning on attacking you. Bush thinks your country is Austria (or maybe he thinks Austria is Australia). Luckily Austria has no oil either, otherwise he'd get confused and attack you by mistake.
