We are having many problems, which are neither notice by the politicians or not interested to solve it. Which are our basic right as a citizen, like health care, education, electricity, water, infrastructure, elimination of poverty, etc. So, if we can scare them then we can able to get rid of our problems.

The only thing that scares a politician is for you to tell them you won't vote for them if they don't shape up and get things done and that you will be watching them closely and sharing what you find about their service to their constituents with everyone you know.

Here in LA, a couple of talk show hosts - John & Ken - did a political human sacrafice against a politician that had a bad record on immigration. He won the election that year, but only by a small hair - it scarred him so much that now all he does is concentrate on immigration. They set up rallies and raised money for the other candidate. It was something to see, for sure.

Give every major politician cancer, aids, and other common types of "high death rate causes"
rid their water from each of their homes (or taint it)
have their local/family doctors reject them or pay massive amounts of cash for a single checkup
have their children that are still in school receive unreadable books, dirty their schools, replace the teachers with part time (sit there and read) teachers that.. well sit there and read..
cut the power to each of their homes.. or flicker it off and on throughout the day
and force them to move into a poor neighborhood where every up-and-coming teen grows into a gangmember, hooker, bum, or dead
....if we did that, this world would be a paradise.. goodluck!

So far, the only thing that has proven to scare politicians has been crazy people shooting bullets at them. Personally I dont condone this behavior at all.
