An easterly jet stream with its axis at a mean height of 14 to 16 Kms is formed towards the end of June over the Indian Peninsula in the south-west monsoon season over the latitudes of 10 to 15 degrees North. The influence of this jet stream on the Indian weather is not known precisely. However it has been found that this jet stream is strong when the monsoon is very active. When this jet stream shifts to 19 degrees north latitude, weak monsoon conditions prevail.
Another sub-tropical westerly jet stream is formed along the latitude of 27 degrees North during winter at an average height of 12 Kms.The velocity of this jet stream decreases as it migrates to north. This sub-tropical jet adds to the thunder activity in north and north-west India.

This answer, while not direct, may help you understand the complexities...

To my knowledge, aircraft are the only proven man-made cause of climate change, resulting in an immediate change in temperature over North America diurnally by over 1 degree Celsius (see: Travis, 2002 link below). Unlike what the air transport industry claims, it is obvious that aviation has an immediate and significant impact.
