1GB=1024 MB
You have 1,26 GB free space which means 1,26*1024 MB.
You have approximately 1290 MB which is lower than you need.

Yes since it takes 100 MB to make a GB, but that will take up 1/2 the space on your computer. Also if your member is not up to date it will run real slow. Games are notorious for doing this.

that's a fairly good price for the laptop, if you're in the US you may find a better deal watching the flyers in the Sunday paper. Oftentimes they have ones with rebates so you'd have to pay like $750 (for example) up front and send in the rebate stuff (exactly how they say to!!) to get like a $200 rebate. (I paid about $500 a couple weeks ago for an Acer which is a little better than that one.) In that price range they're all going to be about the same, but one thing you do want to look for is one with 1GB of RAM to run Windows Vista (that one has 512MB which is half that). Try to find one with Vista Home Premium instead of Basic. My notebook has a 2.0 GHz processor (a little faster than that one) and a 120GB hard drive. Now, hard drive size may actually be the least important for you, unless you make a habit of storing massive video files or thousands of photos on your pc. With a DVD burner (which that and most others have these days) you can easily backup files to a DVD to keep the hard drive space freed up. good luck in your shopping! check Circut City, Office Depot, and others like that for deals. Oh, I suggest that you don't go with an Acer if you find one. Their support is weak. _
