ok. so i'm listening to Coast to Coast AM. it's a really messed-up but entertaining show. so their latest conversation topic: designing robots for sex, and designing robots for breast feeding. what the heck? apparently they think the breast-feeding robot will allow children to become more socialable and more stable. really? i think thats completely idiotic and wrong.
what do you think?

I have to agree that it is very twisted. Crap what's next? The robots having the babies. Sounds like the beginning of a new Stephen King book!

It's moronic but it doesnt hurt to ponder I guess...are the radio djs men?....it sounds like they are.

EDIT:

Ok, there are vibrators and stuff like that. So aren't people technically having sex with robots now? Or are vibrators and such not considered robots?

They are just ideas - I wouldn't take it seriously. There would be a revolution by women if they ever designed a robot to breastfeed.

Robots have no emotion, so they could not pass on feelings of any kind to an infant. They could not possibly, "nurture" .
