But in fact wooden houses are
- Cheaper to build (Timber available easily)
- Cheaper to heat
- Easier to build
On the other hand, brick and mortar houses cost a lot more money.
Amazingly, 99% of the houses i saw in India are made of bricks, cement and wood. No house is of wood alone. I was wondering...

well in the last few years they have been doing something new. they are taking old shipping containers putting them together and then framing them in to houses. i seen this on Bob Villa that home improvement show. very cool and weather

wood is light flies away and if it collapses the underneath it gives less damage to the humans also it is stonger in architecture patterns
