All the "great conference" schools had their chance and blew it! Ohio State deserves to be there. Obviously the other schools were not that great after all!
I am tired of people bashing the Big 10... Esp. since my team (Wis) has owned them in bowl games!!

I agree but for the other teams case.... if UGA finishes number 2 why dont they get the nod to go 1 vs. 2 against Ohio State. They did what they had to do. UGA has won 6 straight and put up 30 pts in each of those wins. GO DAWGS!

only the haters can say that....
Ohio St played their schedule, won their conference and lost fewer games than anyone else ('cept maybe Hawaii if they win tonight). Backing in is not playing a schedule,,, Ohio St didnt have a bye so they finished before,,,, that is a weak definition of backing in,, if they had taken a bye week and played Michigan this week,, would they be saying they backed in?
backing in usually involves losing the last game you played and still making it,,, aka Nebraska a few years ago and Kansas if they make it this year.

The NCAA Championship is decided by opinion. As long as that is the case, it is no better than DANCING WITH THE STARS. Unless or until someone beats Hawaii, I say they can claim the title.

because they have been idle for two weeks and the big 10 doesnt have a title game. how else would you describe backing into their spot? they just sit there and watch!
rebuttle: teams are banged up now and losses are more important to the standings. osu sits there on their buckeye-butts and watches the carnage...whatever, it's all bogus unless your team is in it. congrats to you and your bogus buckeyes. GL vs. virginia tech.

I hate the BCS AKA Bull Crap System... It put a cupcake Ohio State team in there and now whats it gonna be? Them and Georgia? I propose that the loyal fans of REAL football should boycott this game since it will probably suck anyway and it will prove a point, we NEED A PLAYOFF SYSTEM!
