My pet rabbit occasionally stops what she's doing and stares at me as if she thinks I'm insane. It makes me feel kind of dumb sometimes, like I've just done something immensely stupid and I'm not sure what.

Do your pets do this to you?

(note: that's just her "potty", she doesn't live in the cage, she just refuses to go to the bathroom anywhere else)

Neither of the cats that inhabit my home give me a "u r dumb" look, but one will occasionally throw out a Nazi Salute. No joke. The first time it did that, I was a little freaked out. Then the cat walked away like nothing was going on.

So, your rabbit may think you're stupid, but at least it's not planning to take over the world.

My cat like to balance precariously on my knee and stare at me for a few minutes before she curls up in my lap. It kind of freaks me out, I wonder if she's thinking nice thoughts?

My cat does. But he probably is just uncomfortable because I was staring at him. I usually break eye contact and he calms down and then we take a nap together or he chases a shadow or something.

Yup, my cats are highly inquisitive creatures and they just stare at me oddly sometimes. It is most likely a new smell, action, or sound that your pet isn't used to, try to figure out what it is, if it worries you, otherwise, it shouldn't be serious.

Umm, no since I don't even have a pet. Maybe my imaginary pet would stare at me like I'm an idiot of the world.

My Cat MISTY, is the weird one, every night we have to play Hide N Go Seek. She will meow, till you play the game. She loves it when she finds you.

My Cat LUNA, every morning when I make my coffee, she will crawl out of her bed and sit on my feet, stretch up to meet me, Says, "Hi" and then paws the drawer the I keep her treats in and waits for them. If I don't do it then, she follows me everywhere till I do.

i don't know if she is annoyed with me or just sizing me up & thinking "what a freak".

Yes, what is worse is I talk to my dog and start asking why it is looking at me like I am weird, and what did I do.

Every time I do this, no joke, she just stares at me and tilts her head while watching me talk.

LOL ... Yes they do. It's like they are in deep thought. It's funny and kind of creepy at the same time.
